CanNet - New & Improved Payment Procedure

CanNet Telecom has introduced new PAP (Pre-Authorized Payment) methods, which will give our customers more options. We have also implemented a Credit-Check Procedure with certain plans for now in order to avoid fraudulent sign ups, as well as gives our customers with good credit the courtesy of not requiring to leave a mandatory $100 service deposit.

The credit check procedure is not mandatory; customers can by-pass the procedure by choosing the $100 service deposit option instead. Should a customer choose our brand new state of the art wireless modem; there will be an additional $100 hardware deposit; should the customer choose to bypass/ fail the credit score procedure.

Credit Check / Service Deposit Options 

  1. Customers can either select the “Credit Check” option; if your result is appropriate there is no need to leave a $100 service deposit. 
  2.  There is a second option of choosing “$100 Deposit” which would automatically bypass the credit check process. 
  3.  This credit check won't have any effect on your credit score.

In order to proceed with a credit check CanNet needs authorization from the customer before ordering our services. Based on your credit history, CanNet has the sole decision to determine if a service deposit is required.

Service Deposit Option: 

Should a customer choose to bypass or fail the Credit Check option; they will be required to leave an additional $100 hardware deposit in case they choose our brand new wireless modem.

•    Wired Modem Rental: $4.98/month
o    No need to return the modem after 2 years from activation date
•    Wireless Modem Rental: $9.98/month
o    $100 hardware deposit should customer choose to bypass the credit check process
o    No need to return the modem after 2 years from activation date

Upon cancellation before 2 year period the modem must be returned or the customer will be charged the full selling price of the device.
